Infrastructures

Technical facilities

In terms of laboratory support, the cluster is strongly committed to maintaining four analytical platforms (see below), available to ECOMM members and their external collaborators. These facilities allow routine analyses to be carried out, as well as the development of new protocols and methodologies.

Biological Analysis CEBC

This laboratory is specialised in hormonal and molecular biology analyses on wildlife. It currently offers a whole range of measurements carried out routinely by the technical team, as well as expertise, skills and access to tools in line with scientific projects.

Isotope Spectometry LIENSs

The Isotope Spectrometry Platform was established at the University of La Rochelle in 2008. The applications of stable isotope ratio analysis have multiplied over the last ten years in many fields of research.

Elementary Analyses LIENSs

Thanks to its equipment (preparation and analysis) the sector carries out the determination of more than 80% of the elements of the periodic table in numerous matrices such as biological tissues, geological samples, agri-food and pharmaceutical products.

Molecular Biology LIENSs

Within the LIENSs laboratory, the Molecular Biology platform plays a major role in understanding the impact of human activity on coastal ecosystems. They study the different environmental pressures at the scale of the cell, the organism, the populations and the communities.
